A couple months ago I picked up a RF 100mm f/2.8 Macro L and I am putting it through it's paces to see what I can come up with.

I was recently back in the woods trying to take some wildlife photos. Sadly, I barely came across any birds that day and whenever I did, they were gone before I could even focus on them.

I'd suggest using the vertical transform function in Lightroom (or whatever equivalent you like) to straighten up the lighthouse. Unless it is actually leaning into the center of the image. I suspect the lean is simply the result of using a wide angle lens and can be corrected in post.
