This image from the late 1980s, predates all digital editing and what is captured, is exactly what was seen in viewfinder - there was no postproduction editing.
Model testing
This image was done in late 1980s on Polaroid's instant slide film Polapan - a prefect film for beauty and boudoir photography as skin tones were rendered silky.

Good start Marisa. I suggest that you look at the shadows . There is strong light falling from the top left . One would expect her right side (body) to be in shadow. The shadow on the ground looks unnatural. Have a look at the various options creating shadows in Photoshop. Also the light in her hands is tad bright - just tone it down a bit.
It is all in all a good start - just keep hacking at it and seat the details ! rgds
