Suggestion: Making Comments Members Only?

I'm not a huge fan of seeing my search/SEO showing my comments. So I have to be extremely careful and filtered on comments to ensure potential leads do not see them, or just not comment at all. In my opinion the comments should be viewed when logged in which will then encourage instead of discourage people from commenting. Or the other option is having display names, which many people here can have an alas where its not related to their business.

I wonder if fstoppers could provide an option for our comments to not be google searchable? I use Zenfolio for my clients galleries and for privacy the galleries are password protected but there is also a checkbox to keep the content from being google searchable.

Excellent idea! We need to be free to openly comment without the possibility of any reprisals or detrimental impact to our reputations.

I'm not sure if your comment is a sarcastic one or real one, but hopefully it is real lol. But yes, we as a community shouldn't be handcuffed or be a fake character that clients/leads, etc. wants to see us as. If we do then how can we give a genuine comment or heck be discouraged to comment at all.
