Yes absolutely! I always tell them a codeword, and use it to pull them out of a long conversation to get their images and leave them alone for 10 minutes
Some of the best wedding shots I have are from when they first come back in from the ceremony. I tell them I'll hang back and let them have the room, but I might snap a few pics.
