STORMY WEATHER (trees)
Glad I was already in my car before the heavens opened. It went incredibly dark, but it didn't last for very long, and the sun was soon out again.
LUCY IN THE SKY
I just messed about with the photograph of a luscious, large green tree against a nice blue background with the clouds, but I decided that was boring, so this is what I did to it.
INTENTIONAL CAMERA MOVEMENT OR INTENTIONAL BLUR
I'm going to be trying this again because I rather like the outcome of this on my lavender in the garden, which has finished for the summer now, so I couldn't go and do it again.

I like it. Very moody. Love the way the creek bed flows inside the frame.
Thanks Bryan!
I have to say, Joe, this is WAY too dark in my opinion. While you may have been going for a moody scene, against the white background of this site, it looks like a very dark square.
Yeah I was trying to hide my foul ups lol I also may have had my brightness too high on my screen I’ll double check but you know I like moody
I think you can darken that white rock on the right, near the middle, because the area around it is dark, so it's popping out a little to much.
Other than that, I think it looks great. Perhaps you could raise the exposure in the foreground a tad, but overall, I like the depth and overall darkness.
Yeah I caught that rock after I looked at it a few times thanks Jordan
Hey Joe - Cool image, I agree that it is too dark. But, rather than a straight out brightening, I'd consider some angled light on the left bank and then a little brightening of the water. This is a bad screen capture but you get the idea.
Overall though I love the image!
This is a gorgeous shot, bummer you missed focus a bit. Definitely a scene worth revisiting.
i will definitely do so also want to shoot it with 35mm instead to get the back fall
