STORMY WEATHER (trees)
Glad I was already in my car before the heavens opened. It went incredibly dark, but it didn't last for very long, and the sun was soon out again.
LUCY IN THE SKY
I just messed about with the photograph of a luscious, large green tree against a nice blue background with the clouds, but I decided that was boring, so this is what I did to it.
INTENTIONAL CAMERA MOVEMENT OR INTENTIONAL BLUR
I'm going to be trying this again because I rather like the outcome of this on my lavender in the garden, which has finished for the summer now, so I couldn't go and do it again.

You have your own style that comes through in your images that I like best, Bobby, especially the monochromes. It's a soft, understated look that creates an atmosphere of mystery, and invites contemplation. It's evident here, with this very special subject, but it's there in some of your landscapes, abstracts, the old gasoline bowser, the gorilla (!).
Care to share a few words about your thinking when you were processing this? How you made your decisions in editing?
I think the black and white treatment was a great idea. It makes this have a 'historic event' feel that I think is nicely done.
Thank you Ruth , it's greatly appreciated....
