Processed BW a day later in LR. Tired looking at it afresh as independent image. few masks undone from colour. created the glow as subtle focal. Raised contrast. Settled for the grey tone of the sky to also see the mountains meaningfully.

I really like this. I think you nailed the conversion. I'm especially fond of the sharpness in the distant mountains and the darkness of the shadows on the left mountain and the right side of the dune.

hi. Looking at the images again, I see patches (or circle) of yellow. this is there in RAW also after closely checking it.
No idea what and why is that. any idea how to remove it?
hi Vijay, it looks like it could be from part of your processing but I'm not sure unless you go back to your RAW to confirm.
There's few ways to remove it either by finding the root cause in post processsing (if it is) and undo that step.
Or in Hue / Saturation in PS, use the picker tool and select that portion and either desaturate or slide the Hue to cooler temp.
