A few years back I had my first boudoir shoot. Britney was bubbly and fun to work with. I knew I wanted to get a window shot and I was thinking I wanted her in silhouette but when I saw this light on her I decided to capture this instead. What do you think?
Very Nice, watch where you crop....
Thanks Bill!
The lighting is soft. In my opinion, the body positioning appears static and stiff. If you are going to pose a subject, you should never cut the subject off at the knees. Try different positions until you get the results you are looking for. Thank you for sharing this image.
Thank you! I primarily shoot fashion. In this genre, the goal is to get the observer to look at the clothing. Cropping and posing are tools to achieve the goal. I cropped at the thigh and wanted to crop mid forehead but just before I pressed the shutter, she looked up. If you check out the cover of today's fashion mags, you'll see many images cropped at the knees and other joints. :-)
