These are nicely composed, Alan. I also like the feeling of silence and peacefulness you were able to capture as well. I don't appreciate the last one so much. I guess it feels like more of an out-of-focus photo than an intentional movement as the third one does. We had a nice snowstorm this past weekend, but the temperatures have dropped to 0s and negatives. Any snow in the forecast for you?
Thanks Jenny.
I tend to agree on the last one, I had played about to see if I could make anything of it but on reflection it doesn't have a solid foundation to work from. I appreciate your honest feedback on that....
It's interesting that you mention silence - 1, 2 & 4 had a definite feeling of isolation when I took them, with the falling snow masking not just vision but all sound (dare I say, the sound of silence?).
It looks like there may be snow in the forecast early next week so am hoping to get out. This week had been bitterly cold and windy, and illness has kept me indoors.
