Travel photos

It was raining hard on and off most of the day and towards the end of the day, I didn't have my Sony. These are just smartphone photos from Portugal.

Thanks for posting Charles. t's good to see that even though you don't take your preferred camera along you are still looking to get the best out of what you have.

Whereabouts in Portugal are you? We have yet to make our own trip after multiple attempts to visit the Algarve were frustrated during the COVID era.

I've done extensive traveling in Portugal. Lisbon is okay. I think it's a bit overrated. St. George Castle is a nice area if a bit overcrowded. I do love Porto. As for the Algarve, I like the walks/beach cliffs around Lagos and a little town called Tavira. Coastlines are beautiful. Madera is great if you rent a car to get to the remote areas. Inexpensive flights can be had from Portugal. As for travel, I think Spain and France have better old buildings, culture and history. Food is much cheaper in Portugal though.

Thanks Charles, I'll keep all that in mind.

As a side note, my son went to Albania recently and LOVED it (he's well traveled). VERY cheap and beautiful, albeit that the infrastructure is lacking.

Happy travels!
