I had shot Rebecca quite a number of times and when she got pregnant, she wanted some pregnancy shots that were a little different to the norm.
I wanted to include the actual strip boxes into the shot just to add something different to the overall look and I also used a strobe with a grided barn door to make sure I could see her face otherwise it would been too much in the shadows.

I love those strip boxes, actually i will try something near future for some projects.
It's such a simple and dramatic setup. Just a matter of getting the balance right with the key light
I really like highlights these lights give off and have noticed that more and more photos seem to be employing a similar look. I might have to try doing something like this in the future but I think it might require more lights than I actually have to pull it off effectively.
Something to play with though.
