Creating a story with photography

Upon seeing a passageway in my house that had an interesting depth, I started thinking about what I could create... and with a little inspiration from past movies, I decided to make a semi-futuristic chase scene, for which I used two lights. The one in the background had a red gel, and the key light had a blue gel. In order to give it that gloomy look, I decided to use a tungsten white balance. Finally, as I was shooting solo and I was characterizing both subjects, I used a tripod to take two shots which I later combined with Photoshop, one of the pursuer and one of the pursued... I also used my lensbaby creator kit to add light effects and make it look futuristic.

Paige's booth portrait

Recently, I taught an Off Camera Flash class. Paige was my model for the class. We were outdoors but it started to rain. Luckily, a nearby restaurant let us conduct the class in their dining room.
