Proportionately extremely narrow lane. For the Lense I had (18-200), chose to express one of the walls sides for its exposed bricks texture, instead of conventional centre composition. Tried avoiding the light bulbs as I could. liked the lanterns in the composition.
Struggled to "paint" the sky highlights with some colour in LR, but failed. Tried redial filter.
Critical comments are welcomed to improve. Also any help about sky highlight is appreciated.
Thanks.
Did you shoot in Raw? Have you tried the highlight slider? No need to paint the sky, in my opinion. The off-center focus through the alley is good.
A tip for future shots. Expose for the highlights. It's easier to recover dark parts. Or bracket your shots.
Edit: Just an idea for this one. Use a 2x1 crop with the person in it.
Hi Gion. I think I did expose for sky but then the total set up in the image was dark (yes, will learn recovering now). HDR too is good idea and am trying to learn PS faster to take up compositing.
Will surely try highlights as local correction. and check for crop suggestion.
Thanks for review.
