Thanks Chris!
Indeed I had to photoshop the image a little bit to get this effect.
I did not change anything on the side and top of the image but let me explain how to read it.
The blue parts (left and right) are the sides of the ship, in the middle - the red part - is the bulbous bow it self, in the middle again the turquoise is the seawater and finally on top You have the lower part of the forecastle. All this is the fore part of The CMA CGM Magellan, a container ship, seen and shot from the sea.
To have all the colors I had to compress the bulbous (one layer with fluidify) and on a second layer I applied, again, some fluidify so the water “enters” the ship.
I hope this clear enough 🧐🤯
Yes, I think I get it. So it's more manipulated than I'd thought - I thought the turquoise was another paint colour. No wonder it's hard to "read". I could read the blue, but then... ;-)
Well seen, as they say, Ronan! Good job. It looks totally like a (rather good) abstract painting. Is it not even laterally compressed? I'm intrigued.
Thanks Chris!
