As a suggestion, I copied this to my editing app and cropped out the first tree. There is just enough space between that one and the second tree to crop between them with no overlap and, to me, it's a little stronger without the first. This does result in an almost square crop, though, so it might not appeal to everyone.
for me the square crop breaks the rhythm of the distances between the trees and the (for me) absence of the base an head of the first adds to the flavour :)

This works for me Mik. Simple/minimal composition with the inferred diagonal of the trees (and pavers) interacting nicely with the horizontals.
