sorry Ruth im a slow typer :( and my back stories maybe boring :)
However , the little detail of the logo tooling (clearly hand engraved tool) and the Emerald/Jade? green on the pinkish body struck me. Actually all the color schemes of the antiques in the warehouse were amazing.
This vintage 1957, 2 seater Thunderbird, was "Coral sand" according Ford's color chart.
sure ... i was referring to the tooling itself... you can see that the original tool was handcrafted was not CNC milling etc - pure handcrafting - pure art
Hi Marius, it would be great to have more background regarding this.
:)
Indeed!

Nothing to do with photography, Marius, but surely the T-Bird emblem is mass-produced & diecast?

Ah yes, understand & agree. From the good old days of imperfection.
even the paint (Ford, 3 triangles and green ) would have been manually applied and cleaned (for approx 17k of this model)
Nice little "portrait". I like the complementary colours, Marius.
I love the backstories! The image is richer for it. Thank you! Looking forward to more!
