This is an old photo I took in 2013 but recently I thought it became the vehicle to convey the feelings of utter destruction caused by the bushfires here in Australia. Lives were lost, property destroyed, the land was decimated and over a billion animals lost. An image can give life to raw emotion when words fail.

I'm an Aussie too, Sandra, and my reaction is more like Ruth's, or perhaps that the image conveys passion. In any case, it's a great image, and the very fact that it evokes different reactions speaks to that. So many images I see evoke no reaction in me
Hi Sandra. Am mesmerised seeing your other work including this frame and your latest yellow/orange frame. While I resepect you sharing your present emotions and thoughts, this image in particular expresses feeling of hope to me. the red here conveys positivity and enthusiasm. Composition of liquid drop among other complementing elements is very interesting. including the highlights and colours within the droplet.
