Interesting shot, well done!
The limited DOF provides a nice depth to the image, but I think the imperfections in the first element detract from the result.
Great start though, I'm eager to see more.
I may try a retake from the other end. That side might be less scratched.
I'm interested to see how this evolves; it reminds me of a macro shot of the contacts on the back-side of a lens.
