A couple recent water drop shots I got while out shooting macro insect shots. One is two different crops of fog on a spider web the other is dew on an aging wild sunflower. Any comment or CC is always welcome.
Hi Troy. Liked the concept of water drops on web frames. As my opinion, image 1 is strong for me (among the 2) without the blurry distraction on left bottom. sharing my take of readjusted balance. tried removing the strong green cast as well.
Thanks for your input Vijay! I played around trying to crop the blurry part out too, but kept feeling I was loosing more bubbles than I wanted too. Here's the one I was happiest with, but it still has some of the blurry part.
When I first started to process this one I also rotated it this way. Then I realized that it the horizon was running vertical. Not sure how recognizable it is anyway though. I think taking the green out does make it less recognizable though. Actually mine is upside down, the reflection should be ground up sky down. But I felt it seems more right with the sky and the negative space toward the top.
How fun!!!! And ... how interesting the the less colorful ones are getting the most interest. Hmmmm. For me, the second image is the most successful. You really get the repetion aspect of both the droplets and the image in them. I love it!!
Those are good shots...you got some really good shots.
Thank you!

Hence they teach...Everything in camera first and don't count on PP as replacement.
