Something must of triggered something Joe. I am only seeing one image, although to be fair to you I originally planned to add a B&W as comparison. Are you psychic?
Thanks Marius. TBH my initial intent was to capture the oldness and decay of a closed auditorium I had gained permission to access.
The lighting on these rows caught my attention, and I thought given the (almost) abandoned nature of the building I thought the folded up chairs telling.
I absolutely love this photo. The colors are fear and the composition well thought out. I noticed how you didn’t cut the walkway off at the top left corner, and I personally think that made the whole composition not seem too un-straight.
Thanks Chloe, I appreciate your thoughtful feedback.

I see leading lines, I see repetitive patterns, I see highlights, I see shadows, I see tones and muted colours... all visually pleasing elements... but, the one single element which sings the song and tells the story of this elegant image is that seat! The picture pleases my eye but the seat engages my mind, my thoughts and yes, even my feelings... melancholy, sadness, a time gone by? And that is the magic of this shot.
Congratulations Alan....

Mike
Both shots are very visual; I will say that they both are also triggering my ocd. :)

Psychic, not yet, working on it.... There was a second photo as the very first comment. :)
:) sorry for the confusion Alan/Joe. I added a photo of the piano insides with a comment and question for Alan but accidentally erased it
My novice Q for Alan was about story telling : what were your thoughts/message you wanted to convey with this vacant chair down?
Ps: When i looked at it i saw an inverted option - all down with that one up - a void/missing person story

Can't think of much to say, Alan - except that I like it. Well OK, I especially like the colours, particularly the blue reflections.
Thanks Chris, you and your colors.....
BTW - I DID use a tripod for this shot....... just for you....
See, Alan? That's why it's good. Obvious, really.
Evokes loneliness or if you're an optimist, exclusivity.
Thanks Bruce, I appreciate that insight.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate your kind and considered feedback.
I really like this shot...reminds me of what we are all going through during these times.
Thanks Marcus, I like the metaphor you see in this. Purely unintentional on my part but as you say perhaps relevant in today's world.
