Bruce Grant on Fstoppers

My journey in photography started around 1992 before I even realized it - taking "modeling" pictures of my sister at my mom's request to get her discovered. Looking back at those shots I did pretty good with my gifted Canon AE-1 Program.

Fast forward to 2016 when I discovered Foap and thought, "Hey I can do that!" First picture I sold was for a Frito-Lay mission and it was one of my happiest moments in photography - I sold something I created! I created something that people wanted to buy! I studied the highest selling photographers and practiced and ultimately won 10 missions and sold 65 photos to some of the world's best known brands for them to use on their social media platforms.

Though I've grown since my first sale I want to grow even more, get my own clients, make my own sales. When I came across Fstoppers I could see that the photography was on a very high level of creativity, technical prowess and professionalism.

I finally decided to join because I want the work I see here to be my next level. I know I have a lot of work to do to get there but I would like your help - give me your critique, let me know what works, what doesn't. I will do the same for you as I believe it makes us all better.

I'm here to learn but I also hope that I can share and impart what I've learned to others.
