Thanks so much. There were a couple more pieces in the upper part that I eliminated to make it more abstract for this category. I really didn't notice the difference of whiteness between the two pieces until I posted it here.
further thought... there are two little ice cubes (white specs) in the lower left corner. May want to remove those in edit so they don't pull the viewer's eyes off that corner. Maybe some of the wave highlights close to the left border as well. Good stuff! I'd hang it.

I could see you playing around with this and creating further copies changing the color of the water, perhaps rotating/reversing the subject etc. This has the bones of a wonderful series.
Your shot has a Man Ray feel to it. Were you going for that?
Definitely the kind of photo that makes the viewer take several looks and engages the brain to figure it out.
Beautiful abstract. I'd love to see it printed large so the graininess of the phone camera is exaggerated. I think it came out cool as well.
