Hi Jennifer, thanks for posting this wonderful macro shot. The lighting really brings out the detail in the seeds.

To my eyes the seeds have a slight magenta tint - not an issue but I'm wondering if this is intentional as part of your aesthetic preferences or not.

Hoping to see more from you.

No, it's not intentional, and that is a good question I'd love to have some recommendations about - is that something that would have to do with chromatic aberration? This is a picture from about a year ago when I didn't know as much about PS as now. I'm guessing a quick fix would be the white balance tint feature - adjust a little towards green? I'm taking notes so whatever you have to offer, I would appreciate it!

I am no expert by any means Jennifer but chromatic aberration is typically seen at the very edge of high contrast areas (in the form of purple/teal ghosting). This is easily removed in Lightroom by selecting the appropriate box (under Lens Corrections).

This is almost certainly due to the white balance If you do wish to 'correct' you can use the eye dropper tool in the WB section of Lightroom (on anything gray/white) to correct back to white, or do so manually by adjusting the sliders (in LR/other) to suit your own aesthetic taste.

There's nothing wrong with the way this is if that is your intent, but it would be good for you to understand how to change so you can adjust this/others to your preference.

Thanks, Alan! I mostly use Photoshop's Camera Raw. I still have the original CR file; so I opened it again, and adjusted the tint which removed the magenta. Magenta is okay, but removing it gives the fuzzy seeds a more translucent feel.
