For me I love the concept of what 'may be there' in images. Black or rather the lack of 'white' or information is that tantalizing seductive tease of what could be.
Though 99.+% of my public work has very little of this... still the images that intrigue me the most are the ones that are the darkest, deepest, blackest as they say the most with the least.
This is wonderful work, Julian! If I were to offer any critique, I would say that the blacks get a little dark, but that is just personal preference.

I love this one Julian. The pop of green foliage acts as a perfect foil to the repetitive form of the concrete structure.
