Over the past week, I'd been trying out ICM in the evening in some woods by our house. The other day I went for my filter and realized it was missing; so just settled on some evening shots. These were done while sitting on a bench next to my husband who was reading. While I was carefully trying to get a smooth vertical motion, he was unconsciously bumping my arm slightly. I didn't have any expectations for these images until I put them in Photoshop and realized his bumps caused the appearance of “paint strokes” in the final image. I really liked the effect. I think one of the best parts of ICM are the surprises you find when you go to edit.

I like the 3rd and 4th, thanks for sharing :)

Thank you, Baris.

First off, it's great that you are embracing the challenge and engaged/posting results.

This is a great example of the power of ICM - small changes in speed (shutter/movement) and direction can have significant impact on what you get out of it.

These have come out really great. I would encourage you (and others) to get out there and try a variety of motions/speeds on different subject to gain an understanding of what may work for you.

The tick to ICM is to shoot many, keep experimenting and keep learning.

Thank you, Alan!
