With October almost upon us I am looking for suggestions for a new over-arching theme or challenge for the group.
As valued members, what theme (either photos of perhaps simply a debatable topic for discussion) would excite you for the following month?
With Autumn hitting the northern hemisphere soon images capturing Fall foliage might be an obvious choice, but I'd like to remain open to any topic that would engage the group.
So get your thinking caps on, show us that you are still around and let's come up with something that will engage the group.
What about requiring settings that you would not normally think of... say, f/20 - 2 seconds - ISO 100 - 50mm using the color Orange in the composition?
Thanks Dean. I'm hoping to inspire members to go out and shoot outside of their comfort zone, but don't want to make it so restrictive that they give up before trying.
I like the suggestion of a 2 second exposure as this gives a lot of leeway for experimentation and expression. I think members may have fun with this and discovering some creative results.
You know I just had to give it a try!
...and I almost made it.
f/22 ~ 2 sec. ~ ISO 100 ~ 48mm ~ and the color Orange.
Certainly true to your word Dean.
Ooooh, I know!
What about making a (dis)Motivational poster?
Not sure what you mean by that Dean - what do you have in mind?
Meme and Demotivational (Humor intended)
