December Challenge - Minimal

As those of us in the northern hemisphere head into winter, I think this the ideal time to return to one of the core group genres - that being minimalism.

Let's face it, those having to work with snow-covered landscapes have little option over the coming months, so this may provide that push we all need to get outdoors.

For those in southern climes, all is not lost. There are still pristine beaches to explore (another backdrop that cries 'minimal'), or if stuck at home you can engage your creative side.

All for fun, to get us motivated to get out and shoot and generate discussions that may keep us all engaged.

As always, I will be looking for images suited to the banner format (FS grabs a letter-box section from the center of the image) so post any you feel suited.

To get you started, here's a selection of older images grabbed from my PC.

"...stuck at home you can engage your creative side."

Does this qualify as engaging my creative side?

I would say that qualifies. I'm not sure how you come up with all these ideas but kudos to you.

Here's an older image that I finally got around to taking care of. My work doesn't lean towards minimalism as much lately, but I have been challenging myself to take new looks at older photos, so we'll see what else comes.

I see the exit pointing two different directions. Great job!

Nice Banner this month.

Suggested caption for the third image... "The Stig's Kid" 😂
Always love seeing your art Alan.

Ha - thanks Julian!
