What's in a name?????
The surname name Brown is not one that can be considered rare, and as you might expect there are many Alan Brown's in the world. Even within photography, a search will yield many results.
I am amused by one hit in particular, which offers a very similar Facebook member name as myself, but with a slightly different spelling (alanbrownphotograpy as opposed to -aphy). His Facebook page lists the same user name as mine (Alan Brown Photography), but his work is, let's say of a slightly different nature.
That got me thinking - have you come across instances where you have followed a link to see the work of one artist, only to find something completely different due to a minor spelling variation?
I'd love to know if there are some real howlers out there, that may amuse the group and perhaps be worthy of a new blog entry.....)
Here's a link to the site in question - I promise that this is NOT my alter ego ;-)

That is quite interesting. **Smiles**, wow. Can't say I've run into that issue myself.
I can possibly see why, Mr Svelnys!
Then there's Instagram search for myself:

Which reminds me. The very first email address I was assigned was DWilson226@gnn.com, back with Global Net Navigator (GNN before it was inhaled by AOL in the mid 1990's.) Every single provider (personal, not business) since I have chosen the to keep the "226".
Ha, don't get me started on IG. There's even an 'alanbrown' account there owned by an Alan Garcia!
