From wildlife to painting ..

I have this entry level APS-C camera and a lens that is not super bright, resulting in lots of noise when conditions are not ideal. I decided to turn the denoise-dials to '11', and really liked the resulting 'painting'..

What do you think ?

I like that the water looks like a photo while the duck kooks like a painting.

Excellent capture on the reflection. With those water waves, I find those most difficult to capture good ones.

Thanks !

I have to admit however that I only noticed the reflection when I was processing the image, which I then deliberately included in the crop (my first attempt was without) .. I will be more mindfull of that in the future !

It is a really remarkable reflection. The bird looks like its mouth is open! And the eye is at the back plus it has a matching oval for a hat! I'll take a large number to try to get good water reflection images...I'm jealous! lol

Thanks again ! I'm a bit ashamed now that this was a lucky shot in that respect ..

Don't forget. The best create their own luck. You were there at the right time with your camera ready.

I agree with Charles on this. Had you not been there then there'd be no shot. Well done for being there to capture the moment!

An invitation

Yesterday, this bird seemed to invite the sparrows to take a bath.
