October Challenge ~ Taken from a Place of Joy

Hi!
Its my first post on monthly challenges so... let's go!

I selected that two pics cause I couldn't decide, one (for me) emphasizes minimalism, focusing the view on the sofa I sat on in my grandparents' town.
The other, with its colors and tones, reminds me of the whole, of the summers I spent in the town.
The demolished building makes me think about the abandonment of childhood, and why not, of rural life.

Hope you like it! And criticize it!

I appreciate your explanation of the use of color in both photos, Kike; and I love the stories both images tell. I wouldn't do anything differently - very well done!

I like both images Kike, but really enjoy the first. I feel the lack of color in the first is more in line with the scene.

I think the second might sit better with me if the sky was more in tune with the other muted colors.

Thanks for posting, we hope to see more from you (and would love to see your feedback on other posts).

I think the mono version works far better, enhancing a mysterious atmosphere by isolating the colour to the chairs
