October Challenge: Seasonal Foliage

Sharing a photo I took years ago which I still love. Will share more once I go on walkabout when things get really colorful!

Normally I'm all about going to the mountains and getting some landscapes but this particular shot was taken at the park behind my house. I love how the submerged leaves foretold the future of the floaters.

Wonderful capture! I love the 3D appearance the submerged leaves give to your photo.

This would be a fun photo to play around in editing. I am thinking the Geometry-Transform tool and see if it is possible to make the scene appear as if it was taken as a typical leveled landscape. That's the experimental part of me thinking.

May I give it a try?

Thanks, Dean!
I like the idea, give it a go! Interested to see what you come up with!

Something like this?

Interesting! It has even more depth and separation between the surface and submerged leaves. I like it.

Lovely image Bruce. It makes me feel guilty about getting out myself and getting more…..

I’m looking forward to seeing your next batch.

Thanks, Alan. I've been quite the slacker this year but I'm hoping to find something nice in the park again.

The dead marshes for trees where in their waters you can see their leaves from long ago. I love the way the photo fades to haziness too. Nice shot, Bruce!

Thank you Jennifer!
