I don't normally shoot directly towards the sun, but...
Bluristic mirror mode
I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.
An afternoon out on the water
It was mid September late in the afternoon, a group of sailboats were out on the water enjoying the weather, there was a soft breeze blowing, pushing on the sails.
Waiting ... in Paris
... a 'grab' just after I changed lens and model was not posing
Photographing Pareidolia
"Pareidolia is the tendency for perception to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous stimulus, usually visual, so that one detects an object, pattern, or meaning where there is none.*"

Your timing on the action shots looks good. That said don't cut off feet when doing full body shots. It looks like your shutter speed might be just a little slow. Also if you're getting paid for this type of photography it might be good to rent some gear to get in there a little bit. it kind of looks like you had to crop in a bit causing some heavy quality lose.
Is the first photo a picture of a print or the actual digital file?
Like I said you timing is really good on the pitcher and person at bat.
Actually, I just went to the game to enjoy it and hoped to take some photos as well. Nothing paid. Just enjoyment.
