Any social networks worth the time alongside Instagram?

Hi, pretty new to promoting my work over social media. I've been putting my efforts into Instagram for the last while and am happy where things are going. I'm wondering though if anyone thinks any of the other networks are worth the time - Google+, Flickr, 500px etc. etc.

I don't really have the time to maintain a bunch of different accounts, and I'm fine just concentrating on IG if that is where my time is best spent, but just wondering if anyone has thoughts, opinions, experience on a worthwhile secondary network to plug into.

Primarily, I'm just looking to get my work out there, perhaps with an end goal of exhibiting or selling original prints sometime in the future.

Thanks!

I would say 500px is the best one. Especially if you do landscape Photogrphy. The others I personally feel are a waste of time. But that's just my opinion. Another social net work that is very interesting to me is periscope. I think it live streaming shoots can be potentially really great for your following.

All I can say as of this point is that I can not get anything going on Instagram, I seem to lose a person for everyone person that follows me. Of course now that Facebook owns Instagram and has started initiating alot of the "features" of Facebook that killed it, I am not sure that Instagram is the place anymore. To be honest I just don't see social networking as a really effective method period, I can second Martin's recommendation of 500px, be prepared for some serious inspiration, some of the best photogs post there.

I do really like 500px, just started using it recently. VSCO is great, but I am just not quite sure how their social reachability features work. I still think Instagram is the king and will stay so for a while.

Another good one is Behance. It has a millions of creatives and creative managers there.
