Shot a high school football using my D800 and 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. I know the majority of sports photographers use either a D3s or D4s to cover sports. However, I am using the gear that I have. I am posting these photos to show that sports can be captured using a non-standard sports body and produce great photos. The photos shown were shot with the following settings: ISO 6400, Shutter Speed 1/800 and NO flash.

Yeah I really like the third picture. I own a D4s as a pro now, but before I shot football with a D610 and before that a D7000 and got some great shots
