I really enjoy creating something different with drones. I've had the Mavic now for about four weeks and I absolutely love it.

Mixing Film and Night - New for Me
Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

Great work Jason. More like illustrations than photographs some of them but I like them just the same.
Thanks a lot Geoff. It's the color grading and black point that give it an illustration feel.
i like 2,3 and 4 lots of visual interest. not really diggin the halos around the buildings but coming from an illustration background i love the feel of those 3
3, 4, and 5 look super HDR. Doesn't look natural by any means, but I like the fantasy look in these shots; especially with the glow around the buildings. I think these shots are going to get equal praise and criticism, which is simply individual tastes.
There isn't any HDR applied at all. Though the effect is to look hyper real fantastic just like this city is lol.
There is a glow around all of the buildings where they touch the sky. No way that's natural.
I never said it was natural just not HDR. The glow is due to high pass filter and and per channel contrast. I actually have a version without the glow.
I'd say the second one is by far the best. This tight space with all this stuff works very well in the frame. And you've got a nice triangle with the man, the fan and the small cabinet. The others don't really catch my eye. Just the glow, but not in a good way unfortunately. Maybe blur the people with a longer exposure to emphasize the crazy neon signs and buildings ? Probably not possible if you don't carry a tripod on your travels.
