Hi everyone,
I am fairly new to studio photography and don't get to shoot as often as I'd love to. This image was the result of a shoot with my partner Eden (who is a professional make-up artist which helps!!) this past weekend and I'd love some thoughts.
I'm never sure where to start when I shoot so this began with 2 lines from Byron: "And in the Heaven that clear obscure, So softly dark, and darkly pure,"
It was shot in my home garage against a concrete wall as follows:
Sony a7rii
Sony FE 70-200
ISO100 / F.8 / 1/200
Single light source - PaulCBuff Einstein with Octabox lit from above and in-front of the subject.
RAW processing via CaptureOne 11
Retouching in Photoshop
All constructive comments hugely appreciated! :)
Thanks fStoppers!

I don't think you have anything to worry about, I love the shot.
For me personally, I would have shaved a little off the top and possibly asked for a smirk from her.
I agree with Adam, there's a bit much room on the top. But other than that it looks fantastic!
The shadow element on the wall, should have been directed from the bottom right towards the top left. B-
