My first portrait attempt

I like your composition and the tones are good for a low key type of shot. I might have used a reflector on her left side to open up the shadows a little, since you can't see her left eye. Could use a catch light in that eye too. I think I would have had her tilt her head down so the viewer isn't looking up her nostrils. There are a lot of other things you could do depending on the equipment you have available, but I suspect this was an available light shot and sometimes you have to go with what you've got. You understand this is just some stranger's opinion without knowing what you were trying to say with the image or any knowledge of the conditions at the location. The most important opinion is yours and your subject's.
