Any actually good fashion studio lighting tutorials?

Hello!

Sooo there are lots of YouTube tutorials on studio lighting. However, most of them are crap :D

and it's difficult to find videos featuring lighting setups capable of creating something that looks like actual high end fashion photography, and not some cheap lookbook for internet Store.

Two actually usefully videos I have found are those: https://youtu.be/9EzZMYwydJM

I just started working in studio. I shoot my first studio editorial, and it turned out pretty decent, but aesthetically it was not the style I'm after. And I don't know yet how to achieve what I want. And I would probably learn that sooner or later, on my own mistakes, but renting a studio is costy and it would be great to know certain lighting setups as a point of reference I could begin with.

I have some upcoming paid lookbooks in studio too. And I don't really know what I am doing yet and I need to learn that quick.

And yes, I read strobist, there was some useful info, but it's all extremely basic.

I keep browsing YouTube videos, but it's difficult finding something worthwhile.

So, good people of fstoppers interested in fashion photography, do you have any videos, or channels, you would recommend for me?

I assume you mean for free, rather than paying? Instead of looking for (free) tutorials, you may want to look at behind the scenes videos of fashion shoots. For example, Vogue has many on YouTube and they're easy to find. You won't get instruction, but you can see the studio setups and get an idea of how the lighting is done. Also find fashion photographers whose work you admire, and look to see if they have any bts videos. Another thing to not overlook is using the word "portrait" rather than "fashion", because there are many portrait photographers whose lighting skills are amazing and definitely translate to fashion.

If you're willing to pay for education, you'll have a lot more avenues open to you. Good luck!

Lindsay Adler (In my opinion) has some of the best fashion photography tutorials. Her website is: https://www.lindsayadlerphotography.com/. Check out her books too. And then I also recommend Breed: http://jointhebreed.com/store/. Jeff Rojas (Who you have in your post is awesome as well: https://www.sajorffej.com/

They will be online somewhere. You may want to look at some paid tutorial options from people who's work you like.

The free stuff is on YouTube for sure but you have to wade through a tons of crap to find the good stuff.

In my website have this PDF Learn these 5 tips about illumination when working with models. Enjoy si free http://davidgamez.es
