Field Monitor for Fashion shoots - any input

Hello,
Been a member for a while and just now jumping in to ask for some advice.

Does anyone have any experience w/ tethering (wireless or via cable) to a field monitor for shooting stills? I run and gun most of my shoots but the AD wants to see the shots as they occur to insure that we've got the shot and/or aren't wasting any time. I've used an eyefi movi a few times but it seems pretty spotty and tends to link and upload to the device in bunches, usually after an outfit change. Anyone used a Matthews monitor or something like it to view images as they appear on the camera lcd? Essentially a mirror to what the camera is displaying?

Thanks,
Geoff

I tether to capture one to my Mac so everyone on the team can see the shots as they occur.

Thanks so much for the response. For studio stuff I'm always tethered to the computer, but for location shoots there are too many location changes to bring anything that large. I think even a laptop is probably too much.
