Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)
New version of Bluristic available
For iPhone users - a new version of Bluristic has dropped (v1.8) which offers new features and significant improvements in stability & useability.
Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Solid comps! The first shot is great at layering foreground, middle ground, and background. The radial gradient on the TV looks great too.
As a personal preference for white modern spaces, I like to make sure the whites are true white, without color cast. You can always go over the image in the end to apply a color grade, but these just feel like the white balance is subtly off.
Example: (please ignore the terrible GIF banding)
Thank you for sharing your toughts! I did it on purpose a little warmer and I still like it compared to the true color version. Also, which is the most important, the client loved them. :)
I really like these images. Great composition and the property is staged well.
I would also agree that for me, the interior white balance is too warm. I would like to see the whites as whites
Great stuff though...
Nice work. I really like this warmer look
Thank you!
Amazingly shot ..... loved the way it is
Great picture. And nice warm tones. If you do this for interior I would recommend to avoid side to side that is more related to real estate shoots. Wonderful job
Thank you! I will keep in mind this :)
Good composition... I really liked it...
I would suggest to be carefull with White Balance... Even though a warmer environment create a good mood, modern architecture is mostly about really clean and white images.
Thank you! Really appreciate it.
Great work. I only wish you could have done at least a one point perspective.
What camera, lens, and flash did you use?
