Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.

Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Any thoughts on what you like about this shot? Challenges?
Tonally, this seems like a complete departure from the rest of your portfolio, which is much more contrasty. IMO it's hard to see anything in particular with this complex sea of texture.
That "complex sea of texture" was exactly why my editors wanted to feature that house in their mag.
The challenge was where to point the camera . . .
