Athens photos
A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

I think if the floor was visible it may be more interesting ,so for my taste a veritical composition would be more suitable, thanks for sharing
About the floor it was complicated because it was really dark inside the cathedral. So i put my camera on the floor to extend the exposure time.... no tripod allowed inside... and verticaly i have the same composition because i was on the floor ;) Thank you !
That's a great way round the no tripod rule! Whilst a tiny bit more at the bottom might have helped, I feel that the composition from below seat height adds to the drama of the columns.
If I were to criticise it would be that the highlights from the artificial lighting could have been taken down a bit using a few darker bracketed exposures.
thank you !
