Venice at night

Shot this bridge in venice during tourist season. I was up till 3am wandering the city till it was fully empty and a pure joy to take pictures and walk along all those little alleys that you wouldnt walk during the day.

Because of the long exposure, I got some Light specs in the smooth water, but I didnt wanna remove them, as I am a big fan of trying not to alter the pictures and get everything in camera.

Of course I tweaked the colors, but in the best interest to make them look as I remembered them to be.

Let me know what you think

Edit: In case you are wondering: 30sec / F8 / Iso100 / 40mm / Sony a7ii

Excellent! Not sure I would have even noticed the light specs in the water if you hadn't pointed them out!

Unfortunately the building right behind the bridge is a newer post ww2 construction that is quite ugly.

yes indeed, but I couldn't find a better composition for this bridge

Von der Decken's Hornbill

A bird I have not come across before. In my ignorance I just assumed it was a variety of Toucan.

I feel fortunate to have ben able to capture it with my lens.
