Patterns

It was nearing the end of the day when I came across this interesting building. The light looked good as it was casting hard shadows. Without hesitation I knew exactly what the composition would be. This was probably one of the quickest compositions I've been able to create.

I would love to have a lot of discussion in this post. I'll try to answer back to any comments and I am eager ho hear your thoughts and opinions on my work.

To my taste, this type of work should have pronounced visual continuity and should have the strength to stand alone as a 1 of 1 art piece.

I'm most excited by this minimalist style imaging when it appears to create a new form, almost independent of its original structure. For example, I've seen photos of the side of buildings that look like futuristic airport landing strips.

I like where you are going with this image, my only critique would be that it feels a bit croppish, maybe shooting wider would remedy that and accent the pattern.

Thanks for the advise. I'll consider some changes. If you could rate some of my profile images I would be grateful for that.

Love an image that messes with our expectations. This looks like a blend between a photo and vector illustration.

Agree with Francisco about the claustrophobic feel of the crop though.
