These photos were taken just outside of a small town in central Portugal.

I really enjoy creating something different with drones. I've had the Mavic now for about four weeks and I absolutely love it.

Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

I like them all a lot, German! As I do your whole portfolio.
These images are all very well composed and well finished in "post", and convey a dignity and drama to me that really appeals. I sometimes call images of this and related types (old machinery as well as structures) "grimescapes", as they derive much of their appeal in the weathering and deterioration of their initially pristine construction.
You must know the Bechers' work. Their "Blast Furnaces" portfolio is one of my most treasured books. I think some or all of your images here are made at iron smelters. Michael Kenna's "Rouge" may appeal to you, if you don't know it already.
There is no Group on FS that caters to this kind of genre, as far as I know. Maybe we should think of something, although I don't have that many images to show. I'm wary of being seen photographing "infrastructure" in today's terrorism-wary world.
Thanks, guys. Yes, Bechers inspired me to continue what I’ve been doing (when I discovered them), and Kenna’s Rouge sits on my bookshelf. Still has to convince myself to spend several hundreds on Bechers books though. Chris, you’ve got some good pictures, so we both combined could make for a new group here!
I could definitely imagine these hanging on a wall. They look great with lots of texture.
MIND-BLOWING SHOTS
I live on a small lake in Michigan so I take alot of nature photos. I am content to spend my retirement this way, BUT I truly enjoy your photos. I am inspired! Most of the furniture factories in my area have been turned into condos, which is good, so I'll have to settle for old graineries and mills instead. My next day trip will go in a new direction. Thank You.
