sitting room in rancho santa fe, ca home

i really liked the symmetry and engaging feel of this room, there was very little available light here due to time of day and pretty dim light from the existing fixture, wondering if this feels too artificially lit or what kind of different approach you may have taken on this one. Feedback appreciated

Hi Ian,

Really love the image and I think you've done a great job!

I can see what you mean about it looking a tad artificial, sometimes I find if you mix this at about 50-75% opactiy over the top of a longer exposed single shot (0.5-2 seconds) which is at the correct exposure for the room then it can help it blend a bit more natural.

The only other option is if you have a powerful flash you could lok at adding some light through the window on the right to give it a more natural look?

A bird I have not come across before. In my ignorance I just assumed it was a variety of Toucan.

I feel fortunate to have ben able to capture it with my lens.
