Had been wanting to shoot in this building for several years and finally had a chance in October 2020. This theater is being restored to hopefully reopen for the first time since 1987. Everything is original from 1927 and the 1955 renovations and construction lights were the only lights available.
These photos were taken just outside of a small town in central Portugal.

Here are a couple long exposure shots using my original 50 year old Minolta SR-T201 and kit lens shooting Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 II. Both images were taken just at the end of blue hour.

That’s the only uncertain timing. It’s been abandoned since 1987 and is currently being restored. From what I’ve heard it’ll be open within the decade.
That is really nice, there are probably a lot of these theatres in towns all across the country.
