A few shots from the winter of 2025. The last one was inside of the Acropolis Museum. (Unfortunately, I could get everyone to walk exactly where I wanted them to. hahaha)
For iPhone users - a new version of Bluristic has dropped (v1.8) which offers new features and significant improvements in stability & useability.
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5.
NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Wow, much more minimal than I expected. The composition is what sold me it looks like! I definitely agree with your final edit than the original, even though the original is already having a very solid foundation.
Chris, Thank you!!! I try to get as close as I can in camera. I think the difference is mood, the final, looks like it belongs in some editorial on wild game burgers.
Either as an editorial review of the burger itself or the establishment serving it, or it could actually work very well as an advertising full spread shot too.
Very creative and attention grabbing for sure!
Great concept and a very cool photo. Bizarre yet fitting. I think that overall you handled the shoot well, but it might need a little more pop to make it suit the edgy, intense look. Perhaps some smoke around the sides/behind the burger could add some mystery? Then you'd see the nose, the eye, and hints of the boar's fur which would make things seem a little more dangerous.
Great suggestions!
