Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!
Two from Tenerife
My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

That's a well spent morning. You are a little wide, there's a lot of negative space that's doesn't do anything for the product, it's a little lost in the frame. The other thing is, the wood you used is so structured it's starting to pull attention, and it doesn't add anything to your concept, it looks almost cgi. The beer brand is beach and surf related, and only the color blue works in that direction.
Technically you're fine, lighting is great, production of the bottle is good, just get in a little closer.
thanks for you input! those are some really good suggestions.
I like your shot, but I agree it's a little wide and your subject is isolated so that it almost doesn't look like the subject of the shot, but I like the lighting.
Thanks for the words! I have since cropped in a bit and I now see what you both are saying.
