Focus Stacking ~ New to Me
I am interested in learning Macro/Closeup photography and understanding that Focus Bracketing is a good part of the process, I thought I would give focus stacking a try.
Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Austin, Texas Blue Hour
Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.
Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!
Two from Tenerife
My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Hi Paul,
Great shot, there are a couple of thing I would mention that would be resolve with a single light.
You need separation from the background, and you could do this by adding two rim lights on each side, and closer to the top, or one background light. Also the liquid is perceptibly black, could use some more definition, and this could be achieved by reflecting a background light. Just a couple of things, otherwise I like the splash, but it could have a little more expression, the light on the label works great, and you could make it vertical framing to have more of the water reflection.
Sorry for not being very creative, but hope it helps.
Thanks but there were rim lights on the shot and on my computer there is good separation,(I wanted this for my cover photo for Facebook before I got kicked off there) Also if you look up Alex's site you will see that this is how his looked and I was trying to do mine as close to his as possible, however I do appreciate the comments.
